Frequently Asked Questions

What is Christian financial coaching?
Christian financial coaching combines practical money strategies with biblical principles. At Vessel Financial Coaching, I help you build a personalized budget, reduce financial stress, and grow in unity with your spouse—all while honoring God with your finances.
What if only one of us is on board?
This is more common than you think. I can start with whoever is ready and help create small wins that often inspire the other spouse to join in. My coaching is full of grace and encouragement, not pressure.

Is this coaching faith-based?
Yes. Everything I do is grounded in biblical stewardship. I believe God owns it all, and we are called to be wise stewards. But I also coach with grace and compassion—this is not a place of shame or judgment, but of growth and hope.
How much does it cost?
Coaching is a 4-month commitment and ranges from $250–$450 per month, depending on your situation. I use a sliding scale to make it accessible for families at different income levels.

Is this just for couples, or can individuals join too?
I also coach individuals and entrepreneurs who want to gain control over their money. Whether you're single or managing money alone in your marriage or business, I’m here to help.
Do we both have to attend the coaching sessions?
Ideally, yes! Financial unity in marriage starts with shared understanding and teamwork. I encourage both spouses to attend sessions whenever possible so you can grow together and build shared financial habits.

We’ve tried budgeting before and failed—how is this different?
You’re not alone! Most couples I work with have tried budgeting apps or quick fixes without lasting success. What makes this different is the customized plan, one-on-one support, and a focus on your values and real life—not just numbers.
What if we’re in a lot of debt?
Debt can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be the end of the story. I’ll help you create a plan to tackle debt step-by-step—without shame. Many clients come to me in debt and leave with a clear plan and real peace.

Is this financial coaching or financial advising?
Great question! I’m a financial coach—not a licensed financial advisor. That means I don’t sell investments or manage your money. I help you build habits, systems, and clarity around your everyday finances (spending, saving, budgeting, relationships and more).
How do I get started?
Start by booking your free 15-minute Discovery Call. We’ll talk about where you are, what you need, and whether we’re a good fit. No pressure—just a conversation.
I can't wait to meet you!
