Does God Care About What You Drive?

God is in the details. Yes, even the details on something like purchasing a new vehicle. I’ve been reminded of this these past few weeks. With having 2 cars that are quite old, and with a daughter that’s nearing 16, we’ve been on the lookout for some new vehicles.

My husband had a certain type of car in his mind and had been looking, and looking, and looking, to the point where I was like, “Just get a car already!” He followed lead after lead, only to discover a major problem with the car, or it sold before we could get it, or some other issue.

Then, the inevitable happened, and one of our cars completely bit the dust and was no longer worth repairing. This was it, it was time for a new car, and now we had to get something.

This is where God showed up, because now it was time. Within the span of three weeks, he not only provided one great new-to-us car, but two awesome new, used cars! My husband hardly had to look! God used time and circumstance to shift my husband’s idea of the best vehicle to get, and brought us to what was exactly right for us at this time. Two cars for the price of the one car that we had been searching so long for. Plus, we paid cash for them, so no lingering effects of a monthly car payment!

Do you really believe that all that you have belongs to God? If so, then pray about your spending! God is in the details of your life, and will show you what He wants you to purchase, and when.
